Auto-Buying Dips

Auto-buying dips is a feature in Metabot that allows you to automatically purchase a cryptocurrency when its market value reaches a predefined point, known as a dip. Here's how it works:

Activating Auto-Buy Dips: You can enable this feature through the Trade Monitor using the 'Buy Dip' button. This works for any token, whether you already hold it or not.

Configuring the Feature:

Buy Dip: Click this to toggle auto-buying dips on or off. Before using it, you need to set a threshold for the dip. Buy Amount: This option lets you choose the amount you'll automatically buy when the dip occurs. It’s shown as a specific value, like 0.01 BNB, on the monitor. Threshold: Here, you set the targeted dip level. You can define it as a percentage change, a specific token price, or a target market cap. The bot converts this value into market cap terms, simplifying the tracking of your targeted dip. Monitoring the Dip:

When you activate 'Buy Dip', an additional line appears in the Trade Monitor above the 'Other Trades' section. This line indicates the market cap at which the auto-buy will trigger, allowing you to track the token's movements relative to your set dip. For example, if you set a targeted dip of $45,000, this will be shown in the Trade Monitor, helping you understand how close the market value is to your auto-buy trigger point. Execution of Auto-Buy:

Once the market cap of the token hits the set threshold, Metabot automatically executes a buy order for the amount you specified. Strategic Use:

This tool is useful for strategically entering a position in a token at a perceived low point, potentially maximizing gains if the market rebounds. Risk Management:

While auto-buying dips can be a powerful strategy, it’s important to use it with caution. Market conditions can change rapidly, and a dip might not always indicate a future rise in price. Auto-buying dips in Metabot offers a hands-off approach to capitalizing on market lows, but it should be used as part of a comprehensive investment strategy, considering market trends and personal risk tolerance.

When attempting to auto-buy dips, please keep the following in mind:

• Buying dips does NOT depend on your P/L or P/L w/tax. When you enable Buy Dip, the bot simply looks at the token’s current price, and calculates the MC that would correspond to the targeted dip you specified.

• If you already have a positive balance of the token, auto-sells can still occur while Buy Dip is active. In fact, if auto-sell is triggered before the buy dip, and 100% of the tokens were sold, the trade will become disabled, and buy dip won’t be accessible.

• If you’re unsure about how to bring up a token’s Trade Monitor, simply paste the token’s contract address into the bot, and press Track on the menu in Figure 8.
