Copytrade Buys
To activate the copytrade feature in Metabot, follow these steps:
Type /sniper
to open the main menu, as shown in Figure 1.
Choose 'Copytrade' to access the relevant menu, displayed in Figure 18.
In Metabot's copytrade menu, focus on two key options:
ON/OFF: This global toggle switches copytrading on or off.
Add Wallet: Lets you add and track up to two wallets.
Once a wallet is added, a new row appears in the menu, as seen in Figure 19.
In Metabot's copytrade feature:
Removing a Wallet: Use the ❌ button to remove a tracked wallet.
Configuring a Wallet: Clicking on a wallet opens its Copytrade configuration menu (Figure 20).
Copytrade Settings
The configuration menu is similar to the call channel menu (Figure 11), minus the Track button.
Tracking is auto-enabled for added wallets when the toggle in Figures 18 and 19 is ON (🟢).
In Metabot's Copytrade menu (Figure 20), four key buttons are essential for automated copytrading:
✅ Auto Buy:
Enable this for the bot to auto buy when the tracked wallet makes a purchase.
Must be activated both here and in your wallet settings.
Pair with a specified ✏️Buy Amount for effective operation.
✏️ Buy Amount:
Sets the maximum auto buy amount.
If the tracked wallet's buy is less than your set amount, the bot matches it; if more, the bot buys up to your set limit.
Protects against large, unaffordable purchases from whale wallets you’re tracking.
✅ Frontrun:
Determines if you want to frontrun (buy/sell before) the tracked wallet.
Higher gwei is used for frontrunning; matching gwei is used otherwise.
Works in conjunction with your wallet’s gas price/delta settings.
✅ Blind Follow:
Overrides normal transaction origin checks.
Useful for tracking wallets with unconventional transaction methods but increases risk of spoofed transactions.
Additional Settings:
✏️Gas Price/Delta, ✏️Slippage, 🌐Smart Slippage: Override wallet settings specifically for copytrade buys, similar to Call Channels section.
Copytrade Detection:
After a tracked wallet's buy, you get a notification and buy menu (Figure 21).
Manual buys use your wallet's gas and slippage settings.
Triggering a buy, manually or automatically, opens a Trade Monitor (like Figure 13).
You can then manually sell, copy the tracked wallet’s sell, or use autosell.
This section offers a comprehensive guide to setting up and utilizing Metabot's copytrade modality, allowing you to efficiently follow and mimic the trades of other wallets.
